It is very common today.
In 2006 Siena was # 629 for girls newborn to United States
Siena and was # 177
although it has become much more popular than in the past
Siena was the number 609 in 2004, No. 299 in 2005 and # 177 in 2006. These are huge leaps in popularity!
You can check the census to see it was becoming more popular, but I personally have never met. It is a beautiful name.
I had a student named Seanna ... spoke the same way.
