NICE are currently formulating guidelines for the management of glaucoma (see link below). NICE therapies are generally recognized that follow the doctors.

With respect to licenses, I'm not sure, but according to Reuters, was approved by the FDA in December 2007 (see link Ctrl + F and type "scyfix" and will lead to relevant information.) Well, it is unlikely that a to obtain approval for the treatment in the United Kingdom, notably what is new and would be very expensive! Let me know if you find any information at all!
