The measure of a unit is determined by the "DIN". A single DIN head unit, for example, is one that fits into an opening on the edge with a width of 7.2 cm and a height of 2.11 inches.
Aftermarket head units using this measure, as well as all social units will be displayed or single DIN or 2-DIN (twice the height). So, if you can tell if it is your head unit 1 DIN or 2-DIN (it's pretty easy) from a central point of the secondary market of the same type can be changed.
