Your inquiry covers a wide area. The diversity of the garden is incredible, but offer some observations.

Sharpening every tool, garden or otherwise, is a process of restoration of form and work of the avant-garde. A good pair of files (not skimp on the files, only the financial records) are essential. To make an average loss of reasonable quality life easier. A nice theme, but is not necessary, a mill midcost means. A six-inch grinder will do a good job of damaged tools, if they can be covered. All that remains of Elbow Grease and patience.

Sharpening tools such as electric chain saws, hedge trimmers, etc., can be somewhat difficult. Some hands on training would be very useful in this area. Some items in the performance class will be as a leaf-reduction is possible this weekend Gardner. An inspector of balance, usually available where they sell parts and lawn mower, is important. Hold the blade balance is important for the safety and longevity of the motor mower. I cut blades with a file. Somand the use of a grinder, I think it's a matter of personal taste and perhaps the speed required by professional sharpener.

I did a search on Yahoo, "How to sharpen Got gardening. I have some examples of books and magazine articles. See the book rack in the middle of the house to be improved. You can find something.

Final thought: You are of course free to spend their money as they see fit, but I do not spend my money on a cheap grinders. Sharpening just too many variables for one of them my money.

When you talk about a particular tool, please contact me via my profile and I will do my best to help you.
