The amount of pain you describe sounds like an exaggeration. Should be strengthened in this area. Please make an appointment to see your doctor.

Yes, work, physiotherapy exercises sufficient and good. It will take some time to heal.
I hate to stop you, but my husband had both knees replaced in 2005 by a car accident. He said he could never again get on their knees, in any form or fashion. So far you can bend, but can not yet tolerate any pressure on the knee. Be grateful that you will not be replaced and elbows. My husband had done well and will still have in the future to have his left shoulder replaced.
I'm actually quite surprised me with him, even over the Internet at your age! You need to take care of you. Keep up the good work and do their exercises. My husband did not stay with their exercises. This may be the result of the negation is not put no pressure on the knee.
