Metzler Tires Change From Motorcycle Tire To Car Tire At Rear?

Change from motorcycle tire to car tire at rear? - metzler tires

for my 97 Valkyrie, I read a certain type and size of car tires to overcome even a bicycle tire from Metzler. Thoughts, advice?

Many pilots had gone Valkyrie "to the dark side, regularly crawls Deal Gap pins dn't see if one side is not the" handling "or.

Go to the Valkyrie Riders Cruiser Club (VRCC) and advise the Board in the high technology. You need to register (free) to ask a question, but you should be able to search message board.

Do not be silly, there are flying over more technology in the motorcycle tires than other tires on the street or. Look at the profile and search for the contact surface of a tire, motorcycle tires, the difference very clearly. The car tires are flat contact and motorcycle tires are shaped, "U" for good reasons, the corners, the cars do not lean the bike into the corners are. When the wheel, which is the only application, drag and agree plan, I'm eager to see what plans Tire mounting in this adventure. Be careful

Some bike owners have some good results, longer tire life, decent grip, etc., but the disadvantage is that the handling suffers. You can not corner as fast because you are not the wheel on the measure, slim, so if your speed around the corner, good luck and keep happy hunting tires, but if you love me more than the joy is Driving scratch on the floor and footrest in turn, then continue with the motorcycle tires.

aH ..... Thinking of visiting the dark side you are on.

Tires are a stiff rubber. They have a lower profile. If you frequently go and put 20,000 miles or less per year on his motorcycle in May considers the crossing to the dark side. With a car tire and you get many miles, and over the edge. The cost is not * always * a cost, then you have a very bad treatment. A motorcycle tire in a turn, maintains a large contact area on the street. A tire once, will remove most of the tread and the road and just rode around the corner from the edge of the rim. You lose a lot of traction curves. But if you do not go, do not lean too much on the wet, you will probably be good.

If I have a bike that 99% of their time standing on the Interstate I was probably tire of the car.

Instead, I walk the city, regularly scrape ankles wet ride on steel painted lines and manhole covers. I do not give my own safety to save a few bucks on a tire. Corro Metzeler.

You should know what you are doing before things
A simple example is to mount a larger tire can not give more, less grip, but the cost of a bicycle or even a strange direction.
Reply - ask a mechanic, decent! I also ask what to do but to bike safely and alive
