I want to replace a 4-cell battery, 42T5234 role in my 15.4 "ThinkPad T61 with a 6-cell or 9-cells. Work is the 6-cell battery, Number 41U3198?" To work 9-cell battery 43R2499 part time?
The part number of my 15.4 "R61 is 8932-CTO.

While the battery fits the form factor of the laptop, it should work.
The cell count is usually only an indicator of how long a battery is provided over a period, so that a 6-cell lasts more than 4-cell and 9-cell should last longer.
